On 21 September 2016, Singapore Airlines launched the ‘Capital Express’ service, linking Singapore for the first time with the capital cities of both Australia and New Zealand. Singapore Airlines is the first airline to operate regularly scheduled international services to and from Canberra. It is also the first airline with flights between Canberra and Wellington.
The ACT Government wants to use the program to engage with many more ACT exporters and give them a vehicle to tell their stories to a national and international audience. There are already some great company stories coming out of key sectors in our economy such as education, information technology, services to government, defence and security, health, sports, hospitality, tourism and the creative sector.
