National Awards at the Great Hall, Parliament House, Canberra

The 2019 ACT Chief Minister’s Export Awards are proudly sponsored by:

ACT Government
The ACT Government wants to use the program to engage with many more ACT exporters and give them a vehicle to tell their stories to a national and international audience. There are already some great company stories coming out of key sectors in our economy such as education, information technology, services to government, defence and security, health, sports, hospitality, tourism and the creative sector.

The Australian Trade Commission – Austrade – contributes to Australia’s economic prosperity by helping Australian businesses, education institutions, tourism operators, governments and citizens as they develop international markets, win productive foreign direct investment, promote international education, strengthen Australia’s tourism industry and seek consular and passport services.

We have around 10 million customers worldwide. Our focus is on improving customer experience and building trust – offering our customers the products and services they need, and making their interactions with us easy, fair and secure. With operations in Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific region, we are able to offer our customers connectivity across international markets, as well as local knowledge and expertise.

Canberra Business Chamber

Canberra Weekly
Canberra Weekly is the ACT’s biggest, most-read magazine. Launched in March 2009 by Nick Samaras, the publication has grown from 32 pages at launch, to a 220+ page glossy news and lifestyle magazine read by over 96,400 Canberrans every week. At Canberra Weekly, we’re all about the community – we pride ourselves on being community focused and completely Canberra-centric. Our strong editorial focuses on what’s happening in and around Canberra, and has cemented our place as an icon in the community.

ANU College of Business & Economics
We are proud to be part of the Australian National University, which is the nation’s finest. Our unique mission, as the national university, is to address major issues of national and international importance through our research and teaching.  We take that mission very seriously. Our focus, within the College of Business and Economics, is on developing leaders who transform business, society and economies.

Canberra Airport
Canberra Airport is the international gateway to our national capital region. After a massive transformation and rebuild of the terminal, which was once known as a ‘tin shed,’ Canberra Airport is now internationally recognised for its design, efficiency and excellent customer service.

Built to grow with our nation’s capital, it is architecturally striking with world-class art installations, beautifully-landscaped grounds and quality amenities for travellers. The most carbon-friendly airport in Australia, it is designed to speed the time it takes for passengers to embark or disembark to experience all of the wonders Canberra has to offer.

Singapore Airlines
On 21 September 2016, Singapore Airlines launched the ‘Capital Express’ service, linking Singapore for the first time with the capital cities of both Australia and New Zealand. Singapore Airlines is the first airline to operate regularly scheduled international services to and from Canberra. It is also the first airline with flights between Canberra and Wellington.
